Conceived and created by Judy Craymer, the musical MAMMA MIA! is inspired by the story-telling magic of ABBA's timeless songs. This funny tale of family and friendship unfolds on a Greek island paradise where on the eve of her wedding, a daughter's quest to discover the identity of her father brings three men from her mother's past back to the island they last visited 20 years ago.

With music and lyrics by Benny Andersson and Björn Ulvaeus, MAMMA MIA! is written by Catherine Johnson and directed by Phyllida Lloyd. MAMMA MIA! is choreographed by Anthony Van Laast, with production design by Mark Thompson, lighting design by Howard Harrison, sound design by Andrew Bruce and Bobby Aitken, and musical supervision, additional material and arrangements by Martin Koch. MAMMA MIA! is produced by Judy Craymer, Richard East and Björn Ulvaeus for Littlestar in association with Universal.

MAMMA MIA! has been seen by more than 50 million people around the world in more than 300 major cities. Currently there are productions playing in London, Broadway, Sao Paulo, Paris, North American Tour, Japanese Tour and International Tour. MAMMA MIA! has also recently opened in Shanghai, which marks the first time a first-class production of a Western musical has been produced in Chinese. Later this year, productions of MAMMA MIA! will open in Aarhus and Rome, and the Korean Tour will re-open in Seoul.
